Our Impact

For the last 25 years, The Boys & Girls Club of Preston has had an impact in helping children, youth and young adults prosper. We've always had a simple mission: To provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life.

That idea has held true for XX years. 

The kids who have walked through our doors have gone on to become leaders in their communities and examples of what can happen when you invest in young people. Our youth have become doctors, teachers, athletes, teachers, entrepreneurs and so much more. We've worked with THOUSANDS of youth over the years and have given away thousands in scholarships through partnerships with other companies and brands. 

We've taken youth from the community on field trips throughout Nova Scotia and given them a chance to see parts of the Province that they otherwise wouldn't have the chance to see. It's through the help of donations, support of partners and a commitment from our staff, parents, guardians, community members and  volunteers that have made all of this possible.
